For a business that already has customers but takes payment awkwardly.

What is included

  • Google Business Profile claimed, cleaned up, and complete
  • Card payments and invoicing set up in your own Stripe account
  • A shareable pay link you can text or put on a card
  • One 60-minute setup call, plus a one-page how-to written for you

What is not included

  • A website (that comes with the Launch Kit)
  • Your domain name or Stripe's card fees. You pay those directly to those companies
  • Any promise of new leads, search rankings, or sales
  • Legal, tax, or financial advice

Evidence sealing pilot

Free pilot on one real matter

After the pilot: one flat fee per matter, agreed in writing before any work starts.

For solo and small-firm lawyers who handle client texts, emails, photos, and documents.

What is included

  • Each file you send is sealed with a tamper-evident receipt and a signed, independent timestamp
  • A plain-English evidence report and a one-page guide anyone can use to check the receipts
  • Receipts that anyone can check for free, in a browser, with no account

What is not included

  • Proof that a file is genuine. A doctored screenshot sealed today is still a sealed, doctored screenshot
  • Proof of who wrote or sent anything
  • Any promise that evidence will be admissible. Your firm decides how to use it
  • A certification or declaration. Best Pay never prepares one

For software developers

Verifier Kit

$499 one time, tax included

For a developer or team that needs to check Best Pay receipts inside their own software. Listed at checkout as the Phantom Receipt Verifier Kit.

What is included

  • Three C++ header files: the receipt checker and its two small helper files
  • A license file and a short quickstart guide
  • A license to use the kit in your own products, for the version you buy
  • Checks a tamper-evident receipt using only a public key you already trust. No account, and no call back to Best Pay
  • I send the download after payment
  • Your copy is individually marked with its own copy ID, and Best Pay records which buyer each copy was issued to. The license explains this (clause 6)

What is not included

  • The ability to create or sign receipts. The kit only checks them
  • Support or future updates, unless we agree on them in writing
  • OpenSSL. Your project needs to link it already
  • The right to resell the source code as its own product
  • A lawyer's review of the license. It is a plain starting draft that has not been attorney-reviewed

When a receipt is actually needed as evidence

Evidence Export

$99 one time, tax included

For the moment a Phantom receipt you hold needs to go in front of someone else — a dispute, a claim, a lawyer. Checks the receipt and bundles the result into a package you can hand over.

What is included

  • Your receipt checked with Best Pay's own verifier — the same logic the Verifier Kit ships
  • A plain-language verification report: the verdict, and what was checked
  • Your original receipt and the public key it was checked against, bundled together
  • A QR code that anyone can scan with a phone camera to re-open and re-check the receipt on Best Pay's verify page (the receipt travels inside the link and is never sent to a server)
  • Delivered right after you paste your receipt — no waiting

What is not included

  • A legal certification of admissibility. This is a technical verification, not that — a court decides admissibility, and rules like FRE 902(13)/(14) need a certification from a qualified person
  • More than one receipt. Each purchase covers one export; buy another for a different receipt
  • A lawyer's review of the report wording. It is a plain draft, not attorney-reviewed

Refunds for the Verifier Kit follow the refund policy. Because it is an instant download, sales are final once the download has been opened, except when the download never worked on our end or the files do not match this page. Ask within 14 days. For the setup packages, if something does not match the written scope, tell me within two weeks of delivery and I will fix it. If I cannot, we will talk about a refund.

How to start

For the setup packages and the pilot: three steps.

  1. Free 20-minute call

    Email me. Tell me what you do and what you need. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you to something free.

  2. Written fixed quote

    You get the scope and price in writing before you pay anything. If the scope changes, the price changes only if you agree to it.

  3. Built, then handed over

    Most setup projects are done in about a week. Everything lives in accounts you own, and you get a short guide to run it yourself.

The Verifier Kit does not need a call. Email me to buy it, and I send the download after payment.

Straight answers

Questions people ask first.

Will this get me more customers?

I cannot promise leads, search rankings, or sales, and anyone who does is selling you something. What I can do is make sure that when someone looks you up or is ready to pay, nothing gets in the way.

Do you hold or handle my money?

No. Best Pay never holds your customers' money and never asks for your passwords. For the setup packages, payments go straight from your customer to your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank.

Are there other fees?

Best Pay does not charge a transaction or processing fee at launch. You pay the price of the package you pick. Domain names and Stripe's own card fees are separate. You pay those directly to those companies. See stripe.com/pricing for Stripe's current rates.

Is this legal, tax, or financial advice?

No. The privacy and terms pages are plain-English starting drafts, not legal advice. The Verifier Kit license is a starting draft that has not been reviewed by an attorney. Have a lawyer review anything that matters, and ask a tax professional about how to record your income.

Is Best Pay veteran-owned?

Best Pay LLC is a Texas LLC with Texas veteran-owned status on file. Best Pay LLC is pursuing veteran-owned federal certification (SDVOSB) - not yet held. I will not claim a certification I do not have, and I will not do that for your business either.

What if I do not like the result?
