For veteran-owned small businesses

Be ready to get found and get paid, without learning five new tools.

A small business can lose work for plain reasons. A customer looks you up and your Google listing is missing, or they are ready to pay and paying by card is a hassle. I set those up for you at a fixed price, in your own accounts, so you can get back to the work you actually do.

  • Fixed price, quoted in writing before you pay anything
  • You own every account: Stripe, domain, Google listing
  • I never hold your money and never ask for your passwords

Pricing

Two packages. No hourly meter.

Pick the smaller one if you only need to start taking payments this week. Pick the bigger one if you also need somewhere to send customers.

Domain names and Stripe's own card fees are separate and paid by you directly to those companies. I do not take a cut of your sales. Free help also exists: your local Veterans Business Outreach Center offers free counseling, and I will happily point you to it. These packages are for owners who would rather have the setup done than do it themselves.

How it works

Three steps, and you stay in control.

Free 20-minute call

Tell me what you do and how you get paid today. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you to something free.

Written fixed quote

You get the scope and price in writing before you pay anything. If the scope changes, the price changes only if you agree to it.

Built, then handed over

Most projects are done in about a week. Everything lives in accounts you own, and you get a short guide to run it yourself.

What stays yours

  • Your Stripe account and every dollar that flows through it
  • Your domain name and your website files
  • Your Google Business Profile and its reviews
  • Your customer list and contact form emails
  • The right to leave at any time, with nothing locked in
  • Your passwords, which I never ask for

Straight answers

Questions people ask first.

Will this get me more customers?

I cannot promise leads or search rankings, and anyone who does is selling you something. What I can do is make sure that when someone looks you up or is ready to pay, nothing gets in the way.

Do you hold or handle my money?

No. Payments go straight from your customer to your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank. Stripe's published card rate is about 2.9% plus 30 cents per payment. Check stripe.com/pricing for the current numbers.

Is this legal, tax, or financial advice?

No. The privacy and terms pages are plain-English starting drafts. Have a lawyer review anything that matters, and ask a tax professional about how to record your income.

Are you a certified veteran-owned business?

Best Pay LLC is a Texas LLC with Texas veteran-owned status on file. We are pursuing federal veteran-owned certification (SDVOSB) and do not hold it yet. I will not claim a certification I do not have, and I will not do that for your business either.

What if I do not like the result?

Tell me within two weeks of delivery and I will fix what does not match the written scope. If I cannot, we will talk about a refund. See the refund policy linked below.

Own a trade or service business?

Watertight Integrity is a new, free-to-join directory for veteran-owned pros in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We are early, and joining is free. Leads cost you nothing. When a job you won is completed and the customer confirms it, Best Pay's fee is 9% of the job price, charged to you for the tamper-evident completion record. The customer pays no Best Pay fee, and the fee is agreed in writing before you accept any job. Veteran status is self-reported today and we are building verification.

Dealing with a VA claim?

Before you pay anyone to help, check whether they are on VA's accreditation list and whether their offer breaks VA's fee rules. It is free, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Our evidence layer produces signed receipts that anyone can check with just a public key, in a browser, with nothing uploaded. Try the free verifier, or ask about developer licensing.
